A letter to the KCSC: May, 2011

Dear Singers/Musicians:

We are nearing the end of our season!  Simply two rehearsals left before we begin our dress rehearsals and performances.  It is with enthusiasm that we continue to look at the future and our place in the Kauffman Performing Arts Center.  What an amazing turning point for all of us in the KC arts community. 

Not only do we plan on singing in such a beautiful Center, but we hope to provide opportunities for volunteer work and involvement within our chorus and beyond, as we continue to establish our presence in the Kansas City community.  Additionally, we will soon be revealing information on new programming in our educational community. 

Mr. Bruffy continues to be excited about the sound of the chorus and what we have been able to achieve this past season.  Our 100 member chorus helps us 'set the stage' for the forthcoming Kauffman Performing Arts Center ( http://www.kcperformingartscenter.org/) and provides the Kansas City Symphony with a membership capable of any collaboration.  As auditions approach [stay tuned], we will only grow in quality and size.
